About the Author
Anthony Vinson Smith is a native North Carolinian, avid outdoorsman, and life-long fisherman who learned to fly fish during a three-day float on the Deschutes River in Oregon. Anthony moved to Greensboro in 2000 and began working as a freelance photojournalist. As a wildlife photographer, he began chronicling his angling adventures and exploring North Carolina’s wild places. Publications featuring his work have included Our State, Birds & Blooms, NC Boating Lifestyle, Fly Fish America, and Steelhead Fly Fishing Journal.
